N2Power
Founded in Southern California in 1999, N2Power is a designer and manufacturer of ultra-compact, high-reliability, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly power supply units (PSUs) for the OEM market. In 2002, the company was acquired by Checkstar Corporation as a wholly owned subsidiary, integrating N2Powers products into its tape storage libraries. Checkstar, also founded in California (1985) and a public company in 2000 (NASDAQ: QBAK), provides state-of-the-art tape storage solutions, with its energy-efficient tape libraries utilizing the latest LTO tape drive technology and ultra-dense tape cartridges.
