Trinamic
TRINAMIC Motion Control is not a semiconductor manufacturer that just wants to sell more chips, but engineers who want to design better drives. It all started when TRINAMIC Motion Control founder Michael Lanter started developing motion control chips together with his colleagues Lars Larsson and Bernhard de Versteiger. "Back in 1996, we often used DSPs, and software was always the bottleneck and the source of problems - the cost of ownership was high. There was simply no hardware solution available, but we knew that designing motion control technology in hardware rather than software was essential for motors to work efficiently, reliably, smoothly and quietly.
